So last week my lovely boyfriend and I embarked on the epic challenge of making the most delicious looking, calorie ridden chocolate treats ever. Find the recipe below!

You are going to need:

– Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (Cyber Candy)

– Double Stuffed Oreo Cookies (Tesco)

– Chocolate!

First, separate your oreo cookies. Keep all of the plain biscuit circles for later and keep the circles with the icing. Pop a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup in between two of these iced Oreo cookies to create a calorific sandwich. I managed to pick up a selection of Reese’s (milk chocolate, dark and white) from store Cyber Candy.

Don’t they look glorious! Here we can see the sandwiches prior to dipping. Yes, you heard correctly. Dipping. In more chocolate.

Melt a bar of chocolate in a bowl over a pan over boiling water. Make sure to keep the chocolate over a low heat or it will cook and turn into a biscuity mush. Chocolate, for me at least, is incredibly easy to burn! From here out, it gets incredibly messy. Once melted, we found the easiest way to apply was to simply pour the stuff over the sandwiches, and mold around the bases using tea spoons. Take your biscuit bases and crumble them over the top of the sandwiches and place the biscuits on greaseproof paper. Leave to set in the fridge and then get fat.

Borough Market

One of my favorite haunts in London, a great for a stop off for a snack or lunch if you are feeling like a treat! In our first year we were asked to put together a short project exploring the market, and being a city newbie this really gave me the opportunity to explore. The market lies just outside of London Bridge Station and is full of every food you could possibly imagine.

The best policy ever.  Most stores allow you to sample food before buying, which firstly, makes the right purchase a lot easier, but most importantly, means freebies!!  I would personally recommend the olive stall, and the jam stall.  Make sure to try a spoonful of the Raspberry and Elderflower.  Mind blowing.  If you are looking for more of a lunchtime treat, there are plenty of options here too.

One of the most popular lunch break options at the market are the pulled pork baguettes.  Be prepared to queue, these attract quite the crowd!  If you are a vegetarian, like myself, there are also plenty of options ranging from incredible mushroom burgers to falafel wraps.  To avoid the crowds, visit the market on Thursday rather than later in the week.  This way you will get food at your fingertips fast.

Hi!  I am Hannah, a second going on third year photography student at Ravensbourne University, London.

I’ve decided to put together this blog in order to loosen up a bit.  As a perfectionist, sometimes things get a little too ridiculos and I spend hours tweaking tiny details and booking the ‘ideal’ subject.  This often ends up with me taking fewer photographs as planning takes so darn long.

Here you will not only see the planning process for said marathons (from sketches to construction), but also my day to day life exploring the city, d.i.y. craft days and just more fun!

Here’s to relaxing!!
